The city of Austin is considered the capital of Texas and the primary source of origination for Texas jokes and humor in Texas. It has been known that the folks residing in Texas despise it when they are compared to folks in Houston and vice versa. From the point of view of Texans, the people from Austin are quite varying from the people in Houston. In fact, both residents hate it when one person tries to influence the other. The craziest known fact in Texas humor is that if people from neighboring states try to insult, manipulate or change their ways in any manner, Texans from all cities will come together with the hope of driving you out of the region.
